About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician. The CMA or LPN is also responsible for clerical duties, when needed, to facilitate departmental operations and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• CMA certification from an accredited program, required or Graduation certificate from an accredited LPN program, required
• BLS/CPR certification, required
• Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Highly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regards to time management
• Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs
