About The Position

The certified mastectomy fitter will help build a successful Appearance Center. The mastectomy fitter will help Cancer Patients and Survivors reclaim their self-image and self-confidence, through their responsibilities and their passion for others. Engaged in helping support Missys' Boutique and the hospital's mission.

Requirements

High School Graduate
retail experience
computer knowledge
self motivated
Certified Mastectomy Fitter - American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABCOP) within 1 Year
Computer literate, comfortable with computer, retail sales, and credit card machine.
Able to do manual tickets in case of computer problems - totaling sales receipt and taxes.

Responsibilities

Help patients and survivors overcome the obstacles in appearance caused by treatments or surgery.
Provide service and select products designed for the patient’s needs.
Ensure that all areas of the center runs smooth and effectively by assisting all those that visit and volunteer.
Helping the manager achieve the goals necessary to build a successful appearance center.
Computer skills/able to understand all aspects of Retail Software.
Compassionate/Dependable/Good Listening skills.
Works to secure Patient/Customer satisfaction.
Good Retail skills.
Polished, professional in Appearance.
Love of patients and interaction with patients, family members and loved ones.
Self-Starter/Independent thinker.
Enthusiastic and Motivated.
Attend Trade shows, Health Fairs, Other promotional functions when necessary.
Help with Year-end Inventory.
Willing to receive on-going education and training.
Able to perform opening and closing when necessary.
Flexible with the work shift.
Work effectively with Manager and Volunteers.
Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
