About The Position

Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications Assemble, fit and install structural and mechanical components to precise tolerances perform layout, cutting, and fabrication of materials as required Conduct inspections to ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum o f5 years of relevant experience as a fitter or in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. §â€¯6010
