The Certified Investigator role is mainly to conduct health, safety and well-being incident investigations in our IDD residential, day and family living service settings. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct investigations in support of Brian’s House commitment to protect the health, safety and rights of the individuals it serves. Investigators will conduct interviews with individuals, staff and other witnesses, identify and collect documentary and physical evidence, and complete investigation reports for assigned investigations. The investigator will prepare and present investigation materials for Administrative Review Committee of incident investigations. The investigator will work with Brian’s House management and Human Resources Department as well as appropriate external entities such as regulatory/funding agencies and law enforcement as needed for completing assigned investigations. This is an hourly non-exempt position that reports to the Incident Manager.
