About The Position

The company is urgently hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) to serve patients in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties in BAYADA’s ACSP Division. Training is available, and open enrollment for courses is offered month to month, with classes priced at a low $250 all-inclusive. Assistance with the application to become a CHHA with the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Nursing is also provided. Requirements

  • Minimum one year work experience.
  • Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board (training and application assistance available).
  • A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
  • A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
  • Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
  • Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
  • Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

  • Previous home health care or patient care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home, following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
  • Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
  • Perform range of motion exercises.
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and the use of mechanical lifting devices.
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance.
  • Perform vital sign checks, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
