About The Position

The Substance Use Counselor provides individual and group counseling to participants, which includes presenting educational lectures, leading process groups, formulating and reviewing individualized treatment plans, and maintains progress notes. Responsible for an assigned caseload, documentation including treatment plans, case review, progress notes, status reports, discharge plans and monitor progress and response of participant to treatment. The Addiction Counselor must be able to communicate effectively with participants and Completes documentation of participants in the clinical records daily.
