About The Position

Certification clerk issues certifications for customer shipments, lot number, heat treatment data, material certs, independent testing of heat treat process, retrieve process certifications and match with relevant shipments. The Certification Clerk stores the receiving inspection documents using computer software, ERP system/doc database, following procedures and certification codes.

Requirements

The ability to read and write English.
Typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Typing and computer skills (Excel).
Minimum of 1 year.
GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
Issue, review and maintain production and supplier quality certifications, as required.
Review quality certifications against purchase order, drawing and specification requirements for accuracy and completeness.
Assist and/or prepare data packs for any products as necessary.
Priority will be established by the Quality Manager, Quality Engineers, or Operations. This responsibility may include working with buyers and program managers.
Scan and file documents including supplier certs daily as necessary.
Update Quality document logs, as required.
Assist in and/or documentation of quality requirements.
Assist in quality systems processes including internal audits (training will be provided.).
Cross-train with facility administrator to provide back-up responsibilities as needeed.
Assisting in department projects
Ordering department supplies.
All other duties as assigned.
