About The Position

YOUR PURPOSE Responsible for maintaining and processing collateralized titles, ensuring appropriate organizational, state, agency and/or regulatory guidelines are maintained. Supports branches, departments and membership as primary point of contact on title related questions and research. May also support scanning and indexing of related loan documents. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR Title Processing & Support Supports team members, assists with daily questions, and coordination of the following team activities: processing title releases on paid-off loans, conducting title research (electronic and paper), and Electronic Lien and Title (ELT) reviews, processing payoffs and insurance settlements, and submitting vehicle loan lien status data to management. Develop and maintain an ongoing and effective relationship with DMV, vendors, members, dealers, and regulatory agencies to obtain titles, and solve problems timely. Secures liens on collateral for various loan types in accordance with state/agency guidelines. Processes DMV paperwork and assists members in completing paperwork accurately. Prepares forms for transfer of titles and liens according to the Motor Vehicle and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) regulations and procedures. Files UCCs on appropriate collateral and maintains a follow-up system for completion. Receives a high volume of inbound calls and service tickets, escalating as necessary; serve as a liaison by providing assistance to staff, vendors, or members with title related questions, inquiries, and support. The full pay range for this position across all the states in which we hire is $20.02-$28.02. The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related work experience may substitute for education.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state titling laws in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana
  • Thorough knowledge or prior experience working with electronic titling platforms
  • Interacts professionally with government agencies, dealerships and credit union partners
  • Reads and interprets policy and procedure manuals
  • Writes and communicates effectively with borrowers and employees, both in person and over the telephone
  • Performs basic math function along with ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages
  • Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where a considerable amount of standardization exists
  • Reads and comprehends simple instructions and more technical correspondences/documents/rules/regulations
  • Prioritizes duties and functions as necessary
