The Central Office Intern provides support to various administrative, operational, and project-based functions within the central office. This internship offers hands-on experience in areas such as data management, reporting, process improvement, and cross-department collaboration. The intern will assist with day-to-day office tasks, participate in special projects, and gain exposure to business operations, while developing professional skills in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, as well as proficiency with standard office software and applications.
  • Outstanding time management skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple forms of communication and teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to develop relationships and collaborate and influence in a centralized organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with a proven track record of results.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Exudes professionalism in presentation.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in the English language.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to use appropriate body mechanics techniques when performing desk duties.
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting, and sitting.
  • Adequate hearing to perform duties in person and over telephone.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly to individuals in person and over the telephone.
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading materials from printed sources and computer screens.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and documents follow-through efforts in a timely manner.
  • Will be assigned Data Driven projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to support and improve people processes and workflows.
  • Assisting with I-9 document audits.
  • Support data entry and updates within the HRIS or other HR systems.
  • Perform basic research on discrepancies (e.g., missing documentation, data inconsistencies) and escalate findings to the assigned HR team member.
  • Assist with scanning, copying, and indexing employee documents into HR systems.
  • Shadow HR staff to gain exposure to core HR functions (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance).
  • Contribute to HR projects or process improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
