Center Supervisor- Technical Consultant
About The Position
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. How you will contribute: You will oversee employee performance and scheduling You will lead Inventory Control efforts and lead in operational efforts You will work with donors to resolve concerns You will analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events You will perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. You will foster teamwork, communicate and resolve conflicts. What you bring to Takeda: Bachelor's degree in Hard Science and 2 years of Lab Experience Or Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or similar with 4 years of Lab Experience Or 48 Semester hours of Hard Science or Medical Laboratory Science course work with 2 years of Lab Experience Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification Frequent bending and reaching Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, pro-longed glove wear is required What Takeda can offer you: Every day at Takeda, we feel good knowing that what we do helps improve the lives of patients with rare diseases. Requirements
