About The Position

AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Project Administrator to support various transportation design-build projects throughout the Jacksonville, Florida area.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree plus 6 years of related experience, or AS Degree plus 8 years of related experience, or HS/GED plus 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education
  • Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
  • Due to the nature of the projects associated with this position a valid US citizenship is required

Responsibilities

  • Receive general instructions regarding assignments and exercise initiative and independent judgment in solving work problems related to transportation engineering and construction projects
  • Direct and assign specific tasks to administrative and field staff, assisting in all phases of the construction project
  • Prepare and review progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project duration
  • Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) with team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Conduct work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Manage projects of substantial complexity, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Assume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support personnel when required
  • Coordinate with various departments and external agencies to ensure smooth project execution
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Participate in project meetings and represent the company in client interactions
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, and technical submittals
  • Assist in the preparation of contract documents, change orders, and claims analysis
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department and organization
  • Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on technical and professional development
