We are seeking a Inspector for our Transportation-Construction management (T-CM) Practice in Denver, CO. Key Responsibilities: Observe the contractors work to determine the progress and quality of work on construction projects Identify discrepancies, report significant discrepancies to the supervisor, and direct the Contractor to correct such observed discrepancies Work independently, under general supervision, exercising advanced judgment in the application of standard methodologies and procedures for complex projects Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations Inspecting construction work and conducting field tests and is responsible for coordinating and managing lower-level inspectors Reads and interprets contract documents (plans and specifications) to determine if the contractor’s work is in substantial compliance with the contract documents. May make and/or check engineering computations Maintains detailed accurate records of the Contractor’s daily operations and of significant events that affect work Inspects construction work Performs sampling and field testing of component materials and completed work in accordance with the Construction Contract documents
