About The Position

This is a regional job for a solo CDL-A driver, offering competitive pay between $0.64 and $0.69 per mile, with an average of 2,200 miles per week. The driving lane covers the states of Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Drivers are provided with 48 hours of home time, which they can select themselves, though Saturday and Sunday are ineligible for home time. Start times are also flexible and driver-eligible. The freight handled is a mixture of drop & hook and live load/unload operations.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE HAZMAT endorsements
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record
• Residency within 50 miles of the city (strictly enforced)
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations within the last 3 years
• Drug-free status required
• SAP candidates are NOT accepted

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle regionally across specified states
• Handle freight, including both drop & hook and live load/unload procedures
• Manage schedule and home time effectively, adhering to company policies
