About The Position

We are a Michigan-based, family-owned trucking company looking for experienced CDL A Drivers for a W-2 role. Qualified candidates will be interviewed and hired immediately. Drivers are required to report to the terminal in Jenison to start their run each week, and trucks cannot be taken home. The role involves 5 days out with a minimum 34-hour reset each week, offering flexible scheduling with at least 2 loads per week, leaving on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, and non-forced dispatch. The consistent route structure primarily covers the Eastern region including MI, OH, and PA, with occasional runs into NY, NJ, and DE, explicitly excluding NYC. Most drivers complete 2 trips per week, typically to Eastern PA or NY/NJ, aiming for 2,700–3,300 miles weekly. Starting pay is .58 -60 CPM, with average weekly earnings of $1,500–$1,700. The annual potential for a standard 5-day week is $90,000–$100,000+. The position also includes a $1,500 bonus after 90 days and $200 orientation pay.

Requirements

Must be fully willing to run the East (no NYC required, but East is mandatory)
Must be able to run two trips weekly, totaling 2,600–3,300 miles
Valid, up-to-date Class A CDL
No more than 3 jobs in the last 2 years (layoffs, closures, unemployment reviewed case-by-case)
Must have at least 2 years of CDL A driving (local applies)

Responsibilities

Report to the terminal in Jenison to start runs each week
