The Space Development Agency (SDA) is a government acquisition agency under the U.S. Space Force, tasked with rapidly procuring and launching a proliferated Low Earth Orbit (pLEO) constellation, known as the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA), to support Department of Defense (DoD) military operations. SDA's mission is to challenge traditional approaches and accelerate the development of space capabilities, prioritizing schedule over cost. The agency executes multiple launches, referred to as a "tranche," every two years, deploying hundreds of LEO space vehicles into orbit, each with a 5-year lifecycle. This enables the agency to deliver low-cost, high-volume capability on a regular cadence and allows for technology refreshes. SDA currently has imbedded personnel located at Combatant Commands (CCMDs) but requires additional support to organize and unify efforts across all CCMDs. The Combatant Command Integration Lead Support is a critical role responsible for ensuring seamless integration of Space Development Agency (SDA) capabilities with the CCMDs and other Joint Force components. This position supports the leader of the CCMD Portfolio for all CCMD embeds, facilitating collaboration, coordination, and synchronization of CCMD embed activities at all commands to support SDA rapid adoption.
