About The Position

CCE Delivery Specialist Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Understanding of safe equipment loading, unloading, and transport procedures Knowledge of basic equipment operation for loading and positioning Ability to follow delivery schedules, routes, and documentation requirements Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams Ability to maintain accurate delivery records and inspection reports Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices Preferred Qualification(s): Experience in equipment delivery, trucking, or related transportation roles Familiarity with construction or heavy equipment CDL license or relevant endorsements preferred Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Additional training in transportation, logistics, or equipment operation is beneficial Essential Job Functions: Deliver equipment, attachments, and materials to customer sites and branch locations Load and unload equipment safely using proper tie‑down and securing methods Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of trucks and trailers Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and customer documentation Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues to dispatch or supervisors Provide basic equipment walk‑around or operational guidance to customers when needed Ensure equipment is clean, secure, and ready for customer use Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies Leadership Responsibilities: Promote safe work practices and proper equipment handling Support training of new drivers or team members when requested Represent the company professionally during customer interactions Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and safety standards Preferred Experience and Skills: Experience operating trucks, trailers, and loading equipment Strong problem‑solving skills for navigating delivery challenges Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Familiarity with GPS systems, routing tools, or delivery software Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to lift, secure, and move equipment or materials as needed Ability to climb onto trailers, operate ramps, and handle tie‑downs Ability to sit for extended periods while driving Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to manage multiple deliveries and maintain attention to detail Work Environment: Work performed in trucks, customer job sites, branch yards, and outdoor environments Frequent interaction with customers, dispatch, and equipment teams Fast‑paced environment requiring adaptability and safe decision‑making Standard business hours with occasional overtime based on delivery needs
