The CBS Sports Golazo Network within the CBS Sports Soccer department is seeking a production intern to to join their team. Interns will support the network’s daily operational and production needs. Responsibilities include assisting Coordinating Producers, Producers, Production Managers, and other members of the production team with day-to-day tasks in the Control Room, studio, and office. Please note: Interns must provide their own transportation to and from the studio location.
Requirements
- Pursuing a relevant major or minor (e.g., Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Sports Management).
- Basic knowledge of video and audio editing tools.
- Strong understanding and passion for soccer.
Responsibilities
- Gain an understanding of the production and technical aspects of a live studio broadcast.
- Learn editorial judgment for breaking news coverage, with a focus on soccer.
- Collaborate with marketing, editorial, PR, and operations teams to understand all aspects of FAST channel production.
