About The Position

It is the duty of all Food Service Team Members to assist in achieving the standards of the Elitch Gardens food and beverage program in a range of stands.

Requirements

Candidate must be at least 16 years old (18 in areas serving alcohol).
Must be 16 years old to cook, and 18 years old to serve alcohol and operate baking equipment.
Previous food service and catering experience preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must possess oral and written English skills and must be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members effectively.
Ability to foresee changes in product needs and levels during peak and slow times.
Ability to work in a variety of different weather conditions.
You will also work closely with many different types of machinery. Extreme caution needs to be used at all times.
Available to work overtime.
Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Must be food safety certified.
Attention to detail.

Previous food service and catering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that guest satisfaction is at all times the focus of each event.
Maintain proper attendance and promptness.
Maintain proper grooming.
Properly operate cash registers and/or aprons in accordance with cash handling policy.
May be required to perform work in other areas of the park as needed.
Ensuring that all food equipment is properly used and cared for.
Maintaining the storage and production of food so that it adheres to food safety practices.
Maintaining a guest-ready environment which includes having sufficient product and a clean environment.
Keeping food preparation areas clean and organized.
Ensuring that cooking projections are adhered to.
Other duties as assigned
