About The Position

Responsible to coordinate patient meal service; e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs for Catering to You Program. Ensures employees are adequately trained and units are properly staffed to provide service.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
A minimum of 6 months of experience in a food service and one year in a customer service role.
Able to speak clearly and effectively before groups in English, as well as listen attentively to staff, patients, peers, supervisors, and guests
Able to read and write English to facilitate the communication process
Basic computer skills; familiar with Outlook, Word and Excel documents.
Able to navigate websites for ordering
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formatting
Servsafe Certification, or obtained within 3 months of employment

One year as a supervisor in food services
