About The Position
Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels. THE POSITION Plan, supervise, and monitor food production for daily service in a retail outlet serving food & beverages Operate the till and process transactions Prepare and serve espresso coffee Maintain effective customer and client relationships Maintain focus on Food and People safety
Requirements
- Current Working with children check or ability to obtain
- Must hold a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate, or be willing to obtain
- Must have experience in fast paced cafe environment and experience with espresso machine required
- Experience in a similar role, leading a team and delivering exceptional food service
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
