The Catering Supervisor manages operational tasks for catering events, ensuring excellent customer service, food presentation, and adherence to company standards.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience required.
• Must be available to work mornings, mid-day, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Event Supervision: Coordinate and supervise all catering activities under the Catering Manager’s direction.
• Collaboration: Work with production, conference services, and sales teams to execute events.
• Logistics Management: Review event details with the Catering Manager and Executive Chef, manage inventories, and order products and equipment.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with catering staff and other departments for event setup, delivery, and breakdown.
• Sanitation & Safety: Ensure sanitation, safety, and organization standards are met.
• Record Keeping: Maintain records and prepare reports for event improvement.
• Customer Communication: Address complaints, problems, and feedback from customers or staff.
• Management Communication: Sends Event Summaries to Catering Manager for assigned events, detailing team, client, operational wins and opportunities
• Equipment Management: Ensure catering equipment is returned and properly stored.
• Client Interaction: Meet with event contacts and ensure all needs are met.
• Event Execution: Oversee the execution of designated events, ensuring quality service.
• Professional Service: Provide high-level service at all functions.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
