About The Position

The Catering Server supports the successful execution of catered events by providing professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service. This role requires flexibility, strong guest-service skills, teamwork, and the ability to work in fast-paced event environments while maintaining food safety and service standards.

Requirements

  • Previous catering, banquet, or food service experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Texas Food Handler Certification
  • TABC Certification required if serving alcohol
  • Must comply with all local and state health and alcohol regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Previous catering, banquet, or food service experience preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down catering events, including tables, buffet lines, bars, décor, and service stations
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Communicate effectively with culinary staff, bartenders, and event leadership
  • Assist with replenishing buffet items, beverages, and supplies
  • Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Adhere to all company policies, client expectations, and venue guidelines
  • Represent the company brand positively at all times
