The Role As Catering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving catering and event revenue by selling and coordinating meetings, weddings, social events, and special functions hosted at the hotel. You’ll act as the primary liaison from initial inquiry through event execution—ensuring flawless details, strong relationships, and memorable guest experiences. You’ll partner closely with Operations, Culinary, and Banquets to deliver events that exceed expectations while supporting the hotel’s overall revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in hotel catering sales, event sales, or conference services
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Solicit, negotiate, and book catering and event business to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, RFPs, and leads for meetings, weddings, and social events
  • Conduct site tours and build strong relationships with clients, planners, and vendors
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and event orders with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate event details including menus, room setups, audiovisual, timelines, and special requests
  • Act as the client’s main point of contact from contract signing through event completion
  • Partner with Culinary, Banquets, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Attend and host events as needed to ensure client satisfaction
  • Track booking pace, forecast revenue, and actively manage the catering pipeline
  • Maintain accurate records in the sales and event management system
  • Uphold brand standards while creating customized, memorable events
