The Catering Coordinator supports the planning and execution of catering events by ensuring seamless communication, organization, and delivery of services. This role partners closely with culinary, operations, and client teams to provide a high-quality hospitality experience for meetings, events, and daily catering needs.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or event coordination preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering/event management systems
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, and evenings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in corporate dining or high-volume catering environments
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of catering orders, including intake, scheduling, and execution
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery
  • Maintain and update catering systems, including event details, guest counts, and special requests
  • Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown as needed
  • Monitor catering timelines to ensure deadlines are met and service standards are upheld
  • Support billing, invoicing, and reconciliation of catering events
  • Address and resolve client concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and client expectations
