About The Position

Nashville General is hiring a Full Time Catering Associate in our Dietary Department in Nashville, Tennessee.
Shift:
1st Shift (6:30 am – 3 pm shift hours)
2nd Shift (11:00 am – 7 pm) and every other weekend required.
The catering schedule may vary based on catering needs.
The Catering Associate- serves, delivers, sets up and breaks down meals and catering functions to clients, while ensuring food safety and hygienic procedures are always followed. The catering associate also prepares meals, snacks and beverages following specific food handling procedures.

Requirements

• 1 year experience in food service, customer service and/or customer facing role
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Valid Drivers License
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, serving, and delivery of food to the clients and clinics.
• Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items.
• Daily stocking and cleaning of doctor lounges.
• Setting up and taking down equipment at special events and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
• Preparing Grab and Go for Retail and assisting with cooking food, while preserving its temperature.
• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
