About The Position

The Training Table Coordinator supports the Director of Training Table in delivering exceptional nutrition and dining experiences for student-athletes. This role ensures smooth operations for team meals, fueling stations, and special events, while maintaining accurate documentation and communication. Responsibilities include managing event details, coordinating internal orders, assisting with setup and breakdown, and providing on-site support to guarantee a high-quality experience that aligns with athletic performance goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. 2+ years administrative support experience.
  • Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to optimally connect with employees.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) Internet, typing, other databases and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Director of Training Table to execute team meals, nutrition-focused events, and fueling station operations.
  • Prepares and distributes Event Orders for training table functions, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Maintains weekly meal and event calendars, confirming schedules with coaches, athletic trainers, and performance staff.
  • Tracks deadlines for guarantees and payments; ensures compliance with athletic department policies.
  • Communicates directly with coaches, staff, and occasionally athletes to confirm details and provide exceptional service.
  • Coordinates internal catering orders for team meals, including delivery, setup, and breakdown.
  • Attends planning meetings and ensures all event documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Provides on-site support during meals and events, inspecting setup for compliance with nutrition and presentation standards.
  • Monitors athlete satisfaction during events and addresses needs promptly.
  • Submits accurate billing and vendor invoices; maintains organized records for all training table events.
  • Assists with special projects related to nutrition programming and performance dining.
  • Upholds all safety, sanitation, and NCAA compliance standards.
  • Maintains flexible availability for events scheduled during mornings, evenings, and weekends.
