Auberle’s mission is to help build strong individuals, families, and communities In 2019, Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department. Program Description: Auberle Family Emergency Shelter, Family Healing Center, and Ward Home Supervised Independent Living Programs are all 24/7 facilities that assist individuals and/ or families in reaching their personal goals by connecting them with independent living skills, mentoring, housing resources, employment assistance, life skills education, and community supports all while working to strengthen relationships and promote health and wellness for the individual and the household. Position Title and Overview: ​​Casual Pool Staff​ ​​Provide constant and consistent, awake supervision of residents’ daily, evening and weekend activities throughout the entire shift and assure the program is never left without staff coverage. ​Perform hourly rounds, safety checks, and document observations to maintain resident safety and communicate vital information to the team. ​Monitor and support participants in daily living skills, including parenting, hygiene, social engagement, and problem-solving, while fostering a supportive and structured environment. ​Intervene in crisis situations using approved de-escalation techniques, promoting safety, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution. ​Maintain safety, security, cleanliness of the facility and equipment and ensure proper use of supplies.​

Requirements

  • Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma/ GED.
  • 2 years of experience in the human service sector.
  • Physical stating free of all communicable diseases.
  • Pre-employment drug screening.
  • Completion of mandatory trainings is required prior to starting in the role.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends.
