About The Position

Penske Automotive Group is looking for a Cash Receipts Clerk to join our team and help support our business operations in the accounting department. As a Cash Receipts Clerk, you will be responsible for the overall cash management of the area dealerships. You will support our dealership network by obtaining, entering, and maintaining cash transactions from varying departments within the store. Portions of the position will be focused on data entry and other clerical responsibilities.

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and computer skills relevant to a Cash Receipts Clerk position, with at least one year of recent applicable experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Able to use computer and demonstrate proficiency with 10-Key Machine
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and works well in a team environment
  • Associate degree or equivalent; and six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
