Requirements

2 years prior experience in accounts receivable and/or cash applications
Ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives
Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines
Superb written and verbal communications skills, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

Microsoft GP knowledge is a PLUS, as well as experience in the trucking & logistics field

Responsibilities

Responsible for posting payments, reconciling customer accounts and various reporting duties for management
Process daily payment remittances (Checks, Wires, ACH, etc.)
Perform daily reconciliation of cash application batches posted in our accounting software compared to the bank reports
Process credit card payments
Support collections efforts by completing research on cash applications per request of Collection Specialists and other collections personnel
Complete all reconciliations and reapplications provided by Credit/Collections
As needed, assist with generating regular reports to accurately track financial information
Address payment issues such as double payments or other discrepancies
Perform administrative and month end duties & support as required
Provide audit support as requested
Other duties and assignments as required by the department supervisor
