About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Cash Application Specialist within our ALE Solutions division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in St. Charles, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for reducing and maintaining acceptable levels of outstanding balances on Accounts Receivable. You will be recording client payments and ensuring that payments are accurate. You will report directly to the A/R Manager and regularly collaborate with accounting staff How We Work As a Cash Application Specialist, Corpay will set you up for success by providing: Assigned workspace in the St. Charles, IL office Company-issued equipment Formal, hands-on training

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of business experience
  • Prior Accounts Receivable or payment processing experience preferred
  • College degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with specific proficiency in Outlook and Excel
  • ACT database experience a plus
  • D365 experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet vital deadlines, stay organized, solve problems, multi-task, and work effectively in a team
  • Ability to concentrate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • ACT database experience a plus
  • D365 experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Processing Lockbox and electronic payments received from carriers and settling the payments against invoices
  • Processing physical check payments received from carriers, vendors, and policyholders against invoicing and general ledger accounts
  • Processing credit card transactions and sending invoice requests to appropriate Billing teams for posting
  • Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies
  • Reviewing weekly and monthly aging discrepancies
  • Assisting client-facing staff with researching payment inquiries, adjustments, and discrepancies
  • Supporting disputed credit card payments
  • Assisting and backing up other deposits
  • Performing other duties as assigned
