HANAC, Inc., originally founded by George Douris as the Hellenic American Neighborhood Action Committee, is a New York City-based multi-faceted social services organization. Established in 1972, HANAC was created to serve the needs of vulnerable populations throughout New York City. The Learn and Earn Program supports high school juniors and seniors by providing guidance, paid internships, career planning, tutoring, college preparation, and leadership development opportunities. The Part-time Case Manager will be responsible for ensuring that participants successfully navigate the program by providing individualized support, case management, counseling, and referrals. This role involves conducting assessments, monitoring participant progress, and helping them overcome barriers to employment and education. The Case Manager will work closely with program staff, schools, employers, and community partners to ensure participants receive the necessary support to graduate, gain employment, or pursue higher education. Key Program Goals: Support youth in achieving work readiness, job skills, and social development Ensure a safe and structured learning and work environment Adhere to program policies and compliance requirements Provide individualized support and case management services Maintain detailed records and assist with programmatic reporting
