We are seeking a highly organized Case Manager to support our personal injury patient population. This unique role blends medical expertise with case coordination skills to ensure patients receive appropriate care while supporting the documentation and communication needs of ongoing legal cases. You’ll play a vital role in navigating patients through their recovery journey while working closely with healthcare providers, legal teams, and clinic staff. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely and on-site, depending on patient and clinic needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience in a medical or legal setting (3-5 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and legal procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury patients, coordinating care and documentation throughout the medical-legal process.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, providers, attorneys, and third parties to ensure timely communication and resolution of case-related needs.
  • Track treatment progress and ensure continuity of care across all providers involved.
  • Review and interpret medical reports, imaging, and treatment plans to support accurate case development.
  • Provide clinical insight to help guide case strategy and communicate patient needs or barriers to legal teams.
  • Ensure that all services provided are medically necessary, appropriate, and in line with personal injury protocols.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences.
  • Support clinic staff with case-related administrative tasks and patient education as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance the patient experience and streamline case workflows.
