About The Position

The pay for this position starts at $22/hour, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $25.58/hour. This position is located in Rutland, MA. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4pm $1,000 Sign-on Bonus Devereux - Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Based in Rutland, MA, The Devereux Day school serves individuals age 6 through 21 who present with issues such as disruptive behaviors, mood/anxiety disorders, complex trauma, or abuse-reactive behaviors. You could be a part of an exceptional team of staff who support the needs of students in grades K-12 and beyond as they work towards diplomas and learn vocational, transitional, and social-emotional skills. Our students have typically experienced multiple academic failures, most often resulting from a wide variety of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The help you provide will make a difference in their lives! As a Case Coordinator, you will: Work closely with the Prinicpal and the Clinician to provide case management services as a liaison between center, families, agencies, social workers, lawyers and other involved parties. Will complete QI responsibilities for programs as well as gather clinical information and complete documentation as assigned. Serve as a member of individual treatment teams, program milieu team, and QI team. Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment. Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same. Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports. Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Minimum one year experience working with children/adolescents with mental health disabilities or graduate study in counseling, casework, social work, or related field.
  • Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology or Social Work, or other related field is preferred.
