Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with calendars, case management systems, and digital filing tools
  • Ability to follow up persistently and professionally with hospitals and clinics
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to attend Zoom meetings

  • Previous experience in a legal, medical, or case management environment
  • Familiarity with medical records requests, insurance claims, and liens

Responsibilities

  • Join Zoom meetings to discuss tasks, priorities, and case updates
  • Upload, organize, and index faxed and electronic documents within the case management system
  • Obtain balances from medical providers and lienholders
  • Open insurance claims and prepare/send letters of representation
  • Maintain and manage a follow-up calendar for outstanding medical records
  • Perform other related administrative and case-support duties as needed
  • Manage and update the firm-wide calendar
  • Coordinate with medical providers throughout client treatment
  • Submit Medicare requests as required
  • Order, track, and follow up on medical records from hospitals, clinics, and other providers
