About The Position

Responsible for supervising associate performance and actively participating in the daily operations of the Cargo Readiness department to ensure efficient and accurate execution of processes.   Manages escalated issues involving both internal and external customers, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication. Performs additional duties and handles special assignments as delegated by management.   Ensures proper training, process adherence, and execution related to the tracking and reporting of post-booking released equipment and export-loaded containers. Oversees activities to ensure cargo delivery is supported by accurate documentation and completed within established timeframes to optimize vessel allocations and operational efficiency. Provides ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentoring to staff members to support performance improvement, professional development, and a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

  • Proficient with MS applications (excel, outlook, word and ie)
  • Proficient with Lara and Nova
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Management experience
  • Process management expertise
  • Previous experience with offshore service centers
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • General 3-5 years experience
  • Industry 3-5 years experience
  • Leadership 3-5 years experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
