Air General, a national cargo handling company, is looking for Cargo Agents and Mail Agents at our Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) location. We will be holding open interviews and may be making job offers on the spot. The event takes place on Wednesday, 12/17/25 from 9am - 5pm . The location will be the Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Airport Mall of America at 1601 East American Blvd, Bloomington MN 55425. Cargo Agent Responsibilities: Load/unload air cargo from/to vehicles/trucks Maintain and operate a forklift, tug and pallet jack safely and efficiently Adhere to all FAA, Airport, and Air General safety and security procedures Present cargo documents to U.S. Customs, Immigration, USDA and any other relevant agencies to achieve the necessary releases and clearances Understand and prepare documentation for tracing action, perform follow-up, and keep customer informed of progress or their shipment Take special measures to ensure proper handling of valuables, perishables, live animal shipments, and special loads Obtain Customs Log Number and appropriate flight clearances Reconcile Master and House air waybills, as applicable Verify booking details and make corrections where applicable Any other duties assigned by supervisors or managers Schedule: 11:30 am - 8:00 pm (Monday - Friday) Overnight Mail Agent Responsibilities: Promptly sort outbound mail tendered by USPS by destination and flight number. Load sorted mail onto carts by flight number and destination. Separate mail for smooth loading. Establish correct weight for mail. Enter weights into DRP for flight STD - 75 minutes. Create an AWB entry into Sabre. Complete paper manifest for all mail per destination. Obtain sign off from runner for mail being positioned to ramp. Properly disqualify mail for flight disruption or late received mail. Dump and scan inbound mail. Complete any necessary postal logs as applicable within prescribed timeframes. Obtain USPS manifests for each flight. Inbound mail tallied by flight number DRPU entries. Keep proper statistics of all mail handled. Retain all records of mail activities in organized filing system. Secure mail in covered / closed carts. Ensure mail does not get wet. Ensure mail is secure at all times. Report discrepancies to supervisor. Liaise with downline stations on mail issues. Report suspicious activities to supervisor or Postal Authorities. Run the mail to the line, and deliver mail to postal facility from staging point. Schedule: 02:30 am - 11:00 am and 3:30 am - 12:00 noon
