About The Position

Our client is seeking a male caregiver to assist with personal care and companionship to ensure he can remain safe, comfortable, and independent in his own home.

Requirements

• Preference: Male candidate highly preferred per client’s personal care request.
• Experience: 1 year of previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar environment.
• Reliability: Must have a valid Driver’s License and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Provide assistance with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Mobility Support: Assist with safe transfers and ambulation (walking).
• Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to the client's dietary needs.
• Companionship: Build a rapport through conversation, activities, and emotional support.
• Light Housekeeping: Keep the client’s environment clean and organized (laundry, dishes, tidying).
• Transportation: Assist with grocery shopping or medical appointments as needed.
