About The Position

Preferred Care at Home of North Nashville, a nationwide senior care company, is seeking a qualified caregiver who’s willing to assist one of our clients in Hendersonville, TN 37075. We aren’t looking for someone to "take over"—we’re looking for a partner in independence. Our client is a brilliant, articulate 29-year-old navigating ALS and Autism with incredible determination. She knows her routines, she knows her needs, and she’s looking for a professional who respects her autonomy while providing top-tier support. Location: Hendersonville, TN (37075) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Must be flexible to stay later than 7pm (if needed) This isn’t your typical caregiving gig. You’ll be the "right hand" to a highly independent individual. Your day-to-day will include: Being the Ultimate Sidekick: Accompanying her to appointments, errands, and outings. Comfort & Mobility: Providing essential daily leg exercises and back rubs for circulation and comfort. Organization Zen: Helping maintain an orderly, calm environment (if you love labeling and organizing, you’ll fit right in). Brutus’s Bestie: Our client has a German Shepherd service dog, Brutus, who is a huge part of her life. You must be 100% comfortable with dogs! The positions we are looking for includes (subject to your specific licensure but may include): Compassionate and Experienced Individuals, CNA’s (Certified Nursing Assistants), CHHA (Certified Home Health Aides), HHA (Home Health Aides), Care Aides, Nursing Students, PCA (Personal Care Aides), Companion, and Homemaker services.

Requirements

You are naturally patient, kind, respectful, and understanding.
You’re not just "okay" with dogs—you’re comfortable being around Brutus at all times.
You genuinely enjoy organizing and helping maintain an orderly environment.
You are punctual, reliable, and able to follow directions closely without going "off-script."
You are comfortable providing hands-on comfort care (think circulation-boosting back rubs and directed exercises).
You have a valid driver’s license and active car insurance.

Responsibilities

Accompanying her to appointments, errands, and outings.
Providing essential daily leg exercises and back rubs for circulation and comfort.
Helping maintain an orderly, calm environment
Must be 100% comfortable with dogs!
