About The Position

Come join the Hillendale Home Care team! We are a home care agency working with senior care clients and caregivers in Contra Costa and Alameda counties and we’re looking for a Recruiter to join the team. Our recruiting team builds relationships in the hiring community to source, interview, hire, and onboard Home Care Aides (Caregivers) to work in homes and communities with our clients. This is a full-time, hourly position working onsite in Walnut Creek (Mon-Fri).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, healthcare or related field; or equivalent related work experience.
  • 2+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to negotiate offers.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and accuracy of all new hire onboarding and documentation.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace apps (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) or MS Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, home care or senior care industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable Caregivers.
  • Manage the full-lifecycle process from sourcing to new hire orientation including managing best practices in the ATS.
  • Collaborate with the Staffing Management team to identify hiring needs and draft detailed and accurate job postings.
  • Responsible for job postings and advertisement processes; updating and managing postings as needed.
  • Screen applications for qualified candidates, conduct phone and on-site interviews, and make hiring decisions and offers.
  • Verbally extend job offers and initiate all pre-employment checks and processes after offer-accept; send formal offer letter to new hire for review and signature.
  • Attend and participate in job fairs and sourcing outreach opportunities.
