AW Health Care is a women owned enterprise that prides itself in taking exceptional care of homebound clients through out the West St Louis, St Charles and Warren Counties. Shift/Schedule: We are currently seeking individuals who have experience caring for individuals with Dementia and Alzheimer's. Specific training, certifications and experience in this area is preferred. The availability between the range of 7:00AM-7:00PM or shifts that can be two to six hours in length and we occasionally have eight or twelve hour shifts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable/personal vehicle with auto insurance coverage
Ability to work occasional weekends

Nice To Haves

Ability to work in homes with pets and smokers, preferred
Experience working as a Caregiver / CNA / Home Care Aide/Mental Health Tech for Dementia and Alzheimer's geriatric patients, highly preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting with mobility, bathing, dressing and other personal hygiene
Light housekeeping, laundry, bed linen changes and meal preparation
Medication reminders
Client errands and companionship
Redirecting and deescalating techniques
