Caregiver / CNA / Home Care Aide St Charles County

AW Health Care is a women owned enterprise that prides itself in taking exceptional care of homebound clients through out the Metro St Louis area. Shift/Schedule: We are currently seeking individuals who have experience caring for individuals with Dementia and Alzheimer's. Specific training, certifications and experience in this area is preferred. You will need availability between the range of 7:00AM-7:00PM for shifts that can be two to twelve hours in length. Two weekend shifts per month are required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable/personal vehicle with auto insurance coverage
- Ability to work in homes with pets and smokers, preferred
- One year of experience working as a Caregiver / CNA / Home Care Aide for geriatric patients, preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with clients with dementia is a plus
- Specific training, certifications and experience in this area is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with mobility, bathing, dressing and other personal hygiene
- Light housekeeping, laundry, bed linen changes and meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Client errands and companionship
