In this role, you will prepare HVAC students for career success, and deliver dynamic professional development workshops, coaching students through resume development and interview preparation, and connecting graduates with employers seeking skilled technicians. We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented professional with strong presentation skills, employer relationship-building experience, and a passion for helping students launch rewarding careers in the skilled trades. Requirements

  • Sales or previous staffing/recruitment/career services/coaching experience
  • Familiarity with online job searches and tools
  • Able to work at least one night per week
  • Associate degree or related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience using social media platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CampusVue - a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active lead database to ensure sufficient job opportunities for students and graduates
  • Develop relationships with potential employers and/or internship sites
  • Coordinate and schedule employer interviews with students and graduates
  • Make follow-up calls regarding interview outcomes and employment confirmation
  • Maintain consistent contact with graduates until employment is successfully secured within their field of study
  • Provide in-person workshops on resume preparation and career search strategies
  • Design and deliver engaging professional development workshops including resume building, interview preparation, effective communication, professional branding, job search strategies, and on-the-job success for HVAC students and graduates
  • Conduct mock interviews and provide individualized coaching to prepare students for employer interviews and workplace success
  • Manage student workshop completion and engagement using Career Edge platform, tracking documentation, resume development, and professional skills milestones
  • Facilitate real-time resume development sessions where students create and refine professional resumes during structured workshops
  • Identify and secure job placement opportunities specifically for graduates by building strategic employer partnerships and maintaining an active pipeline of relevant opportunities
  • Collaborate with instructors to integrate career readiness activities into the student experience and ensure alignment between technical training and employer expectations
