The Career Preparation Period (CPP) Instructor is responsible for providing instruction and training to students during the Career Preparation Program. This includes developing Individual Achievement Plans, evaluating student progress to ensure early retention and success, conducting effective classroom instruction, and evaluating student performance. The instructor ensures the Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals, provides remedial support, and assesses students' readiness to transition to the Career Development Period (CDP). The role also involves providing comprehensive and individualized case management, establishing supportive/mentoring relationships, offering personal and career counseling, and routinely documenting student performance. Additionally, the instructor coordinates pre-arrival activities for new students, ensuring a smooth transition to Center life.
