About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking to fill a Full-Time Career Coach position in Genesee County . $17.00 an hour plus 20% discount on in-store purchases. Career Advancement Opportunities!! _______________________________________________________ Essential duties and responsibilities: Contribute to the development and promotion of each individual’s business and/or vocational goals. Coordinate tasks/jobs within incubator space and/or community sites. Ensure high quality of production of goods and services. Assist individuals in reaching their IPOS goals, specifically with regard to their micro-enterprise business. Ensure supplies are properly secured for each job. Work on production, when necessary. Coach and promote personal growth for each individual to reach quality standards. _______________________________________________________ Education and Experience: High school diploma required with a preference toward those with an Associate’s Degree. At least one year of experience working with people who have disabilities. Previous production and/or training experience of at least two years highly desirable. Must have computer skills and be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute. Experience in small business community preferred. Graphic Design experience is a plus. _______________________________________________________ Other Qualifications: Ability to function as a job coach for people with disabilities. Dependable, tact, resourcefulness, initiative, and good judgment. MDCH Direct Care Training or equivalent or complete training within 30 days. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and maintain car insurance. May require lifting up to 25 pounds. Requirements
