About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Care Team Leader in the Emergency Department at University Hospital in Madison, WI. The role involves being a front-line leader, motivating and leading nursing staff, and collaborating with the interprofessional team. The Care Team Leader will provide exceptional emergency care for patients of all acuities and ages and ensure delegation and supervision of care in accordance with nurse practice acts and professional nursing role. Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in nursing
1 year ED clinical experience
Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin
CPR certification
ACLS and PALS certification or ability to obtain within 180 Days

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience in ED charge nurse role
5 years ED clinical experience
Certification as CEN or CPEN
