About The Position

This is a Full-Time position (64 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour EVENING shift located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. The position will work Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 2-10:30pm. The role offers comprehensive benefits covering health & wellness, career development, and retirement options. As a Care Team Assistant, you will provide excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team, assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collect data, and ensure a safe, organized environment. You will also assist with patient care within the permitted scope under the direction of a clinician, and support the unit with patient logistics, clerical tasks, equipment/supply management, and charge reconciliation duties.

Requirements

Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English
Excellent interpersonal skills
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider

Nice To Haves

Multiple patient care skills preferred
Prefer one year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities

Responsibilities
