About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first Humana Gold Plus Integrated is seeking Care Management Support Assistant 2s who will contribute to the administration of care management. The Care Management Support Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitating interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. Manages inbound and outbound calls with members, their families, and providers Performs computations, including data entry, in adherence to established metrics. Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. Other duties as assigned. Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • Must reside in, or within a commutable distance to, Schaumburg or Chicago, Illinois.
  • Two (2) or more years of administrative support experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree.
  • Previous experience working with Medicaid, Long Term Care (LTC), or Medicare members.
  • Bilingual or Multilingual: English/Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Amharic, Urdu or other - Must be able to speak, read and write in both languages without limitations and assistance.
