About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Care Management Support Assistant (CMSA) employs a variety of strategies, approaches and techniques to support a member's optimal wellness state by coordinating services & resources. The CMSA may support various functions including care and service coordination and redeterminations. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. Position Responsibilities: Contribute to administration of care management. Provides CM support by managing shared mailboxes and entering data into work queues, mailing letters/educational material, researching unable to contact members and will complete other administrative functions, as assigned Provide non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. Perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Perform computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments. Indiana Medicaid knowledge preferred Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • Must currently reside in the state of Indiana
  • Less than 3 years of technical experience with Microsoft , Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Administration support experience in a healthcare industry
  • Familiarity with care and well-being resources
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree
  • Microsoft Access proficiency
