About The Position

Under supervision, the intern will perform all assigned cardiovascular procedures on adult, geriatric, pediatric and adolescent patients. The intern will also be responsible for completing all baseline training for areas assigned to include baseline knowledge of textbook and journal material. Under supervision, the intern will perform various technical procedures which require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed services.

Requirements

• HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Nice To Haves

• Prefer currently enrolled in or a graduate (AA/AS Degree) of a cardiovascular technology program.
• Prefer obtaining registry in cardiovascular and/or adult or pediatric echocardiography and ultrasound physics within two (2) years of employment.
• Prefer vocational training in an allied health profession (i.e., EMTs, CMAs, or RAIs) with one (1) year of work experience.
