SUMMARY: To provide compassionate care to patients while providing excellent radiographic images. To be an integral part of the cardiovascular lab team in the roles of scrub assist, circulator or monitor. Preparation, identification, positioning, protection and radiographic technique Demonstrates competence in the preparation, identification, positioning, protection and radiographic technique of all imaging procedures. 2. Preparation/Set-Up Prepares room orientation based on procedure and sets up sterile tables, medrad injector, table contrast, heparinized saline, has all possible equipment ready including ultrasound, angiojet, cryoplasty. Ensures safety checks done on room each day. 3. Technique Employee uses proper techniques that minimize radiation exposure to self, patients the general public and other health care personnel. Modifies care according to patient’s age. 4. Clinical Practice Provides patient care and service with compassion, dignity and respect. 5. Self/OrganizationalImprovement Continually strives to suggest and implement ways to improve personal, departmental and organizational performance.
